Heck, while riding the Eisenbahn, I spend most of my time daydreaming about what it must've been like when the Chicago North Western 400 used to travel the same path :-) Unfortunately, the rail lines north and south of the Eisenbahn are owned by Canadian National and are not state-owned, so I'm not holding my breath on seeing the trail extended any time soon unless CN stops servicing the customers at the end of each line.
